What the Buddha Discovered

What the Buddha Discovered - What is true universe is, of course, true of the human being, Preset ‘biological constants’ are the ones safeguarding the ‘middle path’ in the human body, and we know them very intimately. For example, when at rest, our body, temperature should always be in the region of 37 degrees Celsius. If it were to deviate either way, below or higher from this normal, the ‘middle path,’ the human body cannot be in good health. It is the same with other preset constants such as breathing, blood pressure, heartbeat, and blood glucose. They could, of course, be breached – Which we often do – but not without adverse consequences. When the blood pressure is high or low, we feel ill, and we seek medical assistance to bring blood pressure back to normal, to accord with the ‘middle path.’

It's a matter of charity

We carry out a programme of donating books to libraries and Buddhist monastic institutions, as well as to the children who are too poor to afford to purchase them. You too can participate in this act of great merit.
