ගුත්තිල කාව්‍යය - තොටගමුවේ රාහුල හිමියන්ගේ ශිෂ්‍ය හිමි නමක් වූ වෑත්තෑවේ හිමියන් විසින් රචනා කරන ලද ගුත්තිල මහා කාව්‍යය සඳහා ජාතක පොතේ 237 වැනි ජාතක කථාව වූ ගුත්තිල ජාතකය පාදක වී තිබේ. ගුත්තිල කාව්‍ය තුළ පද්‍ය 511ක් ඇතුලත් වී ඇති අතර වෑත්තෑවේ හිමියන් විසින් වායු ගණය මුල් කොට ගෙන රචනා කර ඇත. ජාතික කථා පුවත් පදනම් කොට ගෙන කෝට්ටේ සමයේ දී ලියැවී ඇති කාව්‍ය කෘති දෙකෙන් දෙ වැන්න ගුත්තිල කාව්‍යයයි. රචනා කර ඇති විරිත සමුද්‍ර ඝෝශ යයි. එනම් සමුදුරෙ රිද්මයටයි. කෝට්ටේ යුගයට අයත් මෙම කාව්‍ය සංග්‍රහය තුළින් බෝසතුන් 'ගුත්තිල' නම් විණා වාදකයාව ඉපිද 'මුසිල' නම් තම ගෝලයා සමඟ වාද කළ අයුරු නිරුපණය කෙරේ. කතුවරයා මෙම කෘතියට විශේෂ නාමයක් ලබා දී නොමැති අතර, එම නිසා ජාතක පොතෙහි එන ගුත්තිල නාමය ම මේ සඳහා භාවිත වේ. වෑත්තෑවේ හිමියන්, තොටගමුවේ ශී‍්‍ර රාහුල හිමිපාණන්ගේ ගෝලයෙකි. කාව්‍යාකරණයෙහි තම ගෝලයා තුල තිබු හැකියාව දුටු රාහුල හිමි ඒ කෙරෙහි තමා තුල පවතී අප්‍රසාදය පල කිරීමට තම අතවැසියෙකු විසින් වෑත්තෑවේ හිමියන්ට දිනපතා පලා කොළ 3 පංගුවක් බෙදන ලෙස උපදෙස් දුන්නේය. මෙසේ 'පල නො කියා පලා බෙදන' බව වටහා ගත් වෑත්තෑවේ හිමි පෙරලා ගමට වැඩි අතර, තම අකෘතඥයකු නොවන බව ගුරුතුමාට හැගවීම සදහා ගුත්තිල කාව්‍ය රචනා කරන ලදී. ලෙන් බැහැර ව ගිය වෑත්තෑවේ හිමියන් තමන් ගුරු ද්‍රෝහියකු නොවන බව පෙන්වීම පිණිස ගුත්තිල කාව්‍යය රචනා කළ බවත් පැවසේ. හය වැනි පරාක‍්‍රමබාහු රජ සමයේ (කෝට්ටෙ යුගයේ) මෙය ලියැවුණු බවට සැලකෙන ගුත්තිල කාව්‍යය, සිංහල සාහිත්‍ය ඉතිහාසයේ සුවිශේෂී නිර්මාණයක් ලෙසින් ද සිංහල පද්‍ය සාහිත්‍ය පෝෂණය කළ උසස් රසවත් ග‍්‍රන්ථයක් ලෙසින් ද ඉමහත් ප‍්‍රසාදයට ලක් වී ඇත. තවද සංසාර නෞකා වූ සර්වඥයන් වසහන්සේ වේළුවනාරාමයෙහි වැඩවසන සමයෙහි දේවදත්ත නම් ස්ථරවීරයන් වහන්සේ අරභයා මෙය දක්වන ලදි.

The BCC hereby exempts itself from any and all responsibilities pertaining to the shipment or postage of goods. The time taken for delivery, and quality of service, will depend on the express mail service or shipping service selected by the customer in the online purchase form.

Returns Policy

In the case of returns, a formal complaint must be lodged (in writing) within 14 days of the purchase. The return of purchased items is only acceptable under the following circumstances:

Manufacturing defects in items such as audio or video cassettes, CDs and DVDs.
Printing or binding defects in printed material
The shipment of an item that was not ordered, or the failure to ship an ordered item.

The Buddhist Cultural Center will bear no expense for postage of formal complaints, or returned items. The Buddhist Cultural Center is exempt from any and all liability pertaining to manufacturing defects if foul play is suspected or discovered.

Refund Policy

The BCC will consider a refund on a purchased item only if said item becomes unavailable after purchase. A request for a refund must be made within 2 days of the transaction. The average period of time taken for a refund can range between 14 and 21 days.
