An Historical Relation of Ceylon - is a book written by Robert Knox, an English sea captain who was held captive in Ceylon (present-day Sri Lanka) for nearly twenty years during the 17th century. In his account, Knox provides a detailed narrative of his experiences and observations of the island's geography, society, culture, economy, and governance during his captivity. His work serves as an important historical document offering insights into Ceylon's history and the interactions between European colonizers and indigenous populations during the colonial period. Knox's observations and descriptions provide valuable information for historians and scholars studying the colonial era in Sri Lanka.

It's a matter of charity

We have embarked on a programme of donating books to libraries in the island and Buddhist monastic institutions, as well as to the children who are unable to afford to purchase them. You too can participate in this act of great merit.
